What is it? Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) is a technology-based solution that provides the ability for Business Customers to scan their physical checks right from their place of business. RDC reduces customer’s time and expense of transporting paper checks to the bank, thus improving funds availability and expediting daily cash flow.
How is RDC different from Mobile Deposit? There is a dedicated check scanner, provided by ASB, directly connected to a PC at customer’s location. Multiple checks can be scanned at the same time, and customers are able to scan checks into multiple business accounts. It is secure, encrypted and password protected.
